What Is It?

A Voicethread is a multimedia slideshow that allows students to combine photos, video, text, and their own voice to present information. In addition to this, Voicethread also gives students the ability to collaboratively create and work on organizing information with one another. Students can also use the software to doodle and highlight specific aspects of images while discussing them. Voicethread is really a multimedia toolbox that gives students the power to creatively and visually demonstrate what they know. What makes the software even better is that it's free and in the cloud, so there is no software to install or cost to the school.
